Internal surge suppression - Marine electrical systems are plagued with transient voltage spikes. Shadow-Casters are protected from these spikes by an internal suppression device.
Internal temperature protection - Internal self protection circuitry means Shadow-Casters will never get hot enough to burn you or your gel coat.
Rugged design - 316 Stainless Steel and polycarbonate housing designed by engineers with years of experience in military product design. Shock and vibration resistant for operation at any speed.
Stainless steel bezel prevents any damage to the light during installation. The light can actually flex to conform to up to 3/16" hull curvature over the length of the light.
Attract sea life - Reports are posted in forums everywhere boasting things caught with lights from Tuna, Swordfish, Snapper, Snook, as well as other game fish.
Surface mounting - The SCM-10 model needs no major hull penetration below the waterline, only two mounting screws and a small hole for the wire.
Great looking light
I installed this on the back of my boat. Wow, they are nice. Easy to install and looks great on the boat.
from Buford GA.
These are the best underwater lights I’ve seen. Crazy bright and very high quality. The mirror polished stainless compliments the boat very well.
Questions and Answers
I want to place these units in 8'-10' of saltwater][Tampa bay] off my dock to attract fish. Each unit would need 20' - 30' of cable to be run underwater to the dock. I have 110V outlets on the dock. Do the units plug in to 110V outlets - is the voltage converter contained in the light unit, or is a voltage converter needed on the dock. Everything HAS to be waterproof. Have had several watertight problems with other units. Will apply small "anchors" to units to keep them on the bottom. Is there any reason to believe your light units can't be used in this manner? Thanks
