At 256 lumens, this is the highest output LED tower cluster available for marine use. It combines 18 surface mount (SMD) LEDs arrayed in 6 planes for 360 visibility. Proprietary PWM Constant-Current chipset results in high performance across the entire 8-30VDC range. Its 360 visibility makes it ideal for wall appliques and table lamps which use the #1142 double-contact BA15d bayonet bulbs (non indexed level side pins).

Features & Benefits:

  • High output SMD LEDs
  • Constant-current drive topology
  • Over-voltage protection
  • No radiated heat
  • Thermally efficient design

Rating Boat Owner
Added these lights to replace non-indexed 6W and 12W incandescent bulbs used in overhead cabin lights. Same or acceptable light intensity, fraction of power use and cool to touch. Warm color is whiter then the incandescent bulbs. Good to read by. Bought three and now outfitting the rest of the boat. Would be nice if they could be made water-proof.

Q: Does this replace the 1004 bulb?
Asked by: robin - 11/10/2014 (Submit an answer)

Q: I have a perko anchor light, not sure the model, but the base of this light appears to be the same, opposing pins, not offset, same diameter base. The original bulb is much shorter however, maybe an inch and a quarter vs. 2 inch. I'm guessing this probably fits, any thoughts?
Asked by: denis - 1/6/2015 (Submit an answer)
A: If the base matches, it should work fine.
